FAQ

  • Consulting with Netshield starts at USD 200.00 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, with a 1-hour minimum of onsite and 30 minutes remote.
  • Estimates can be provided upfront. Please note that the costs are subject to change, especially if the scope of work is not clearly defined.
  • A 1-hour appointment may be required to discuss larger/more complex projects.  
  • A higher rate will be billed for any work performed outside of regular business hours.
  • Hours can be bought in advance upon request or as needed for a project.
    • A pre-purchase account is necessary to acquire hours in advance. To establish your account, we will need your billing information. Subsequently, an invoice will be created and forwarded for the estimated hours we’ve discussed. Upon receiving payment, the corresponding time will be credited to your account.
    • When you obtain a set of hours, they will be credited to your account for utilization during our regular scheduling slots.
    • Any unused hours will expire one year from the purchase date.
  • Our regular service hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
  • Zoom serves as our primary communication platform during meetings.
    • Webcams are optional; if your computer lacks a microphone, you can join the meeting via phone. Details will be provided once a technician confirms your appointment.
  • Given the nature of our work, hourly work does not come with a warranty.
  • Every hour we dedicate is billable, irrespective of the outcome.
  • While we can advise on the effort needed to address a problem or implement a solution, you must inform us if engagement hours are capped.
  • Hardware warranty coverage is contingent upon the manufacturer’s policy. Typically, NetShield will facilitate the replacement of faulty hardware upfront and handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer subsequently.
